Game Description

Xyla is a MASTER chef, or so she thought she was... She had a cooking disaster while she was making treats for a holiday and they turned into monsters! Help Xyla prevent the chocolate monsters from destroying her kitchen by smashing all their projectiles and UTTERLY ANNIHILATING THEM!

The game has a cool concept and feels good to play, but it has two significant issues that soured it for me. The first is that the difficulty spikes are too rough (in particular levels like 15, with many enemies shooting in different directions). The second is the lack of any type of level selection screen or continue system. You have to play through the whole game every time you die, which is pretty tedious when the first five levels or so feel more like tutorials than actual levels.

Thanks for the feedback! Honestly, I expected something like that to be the case, I can fully agree with you. I am considering doing an update to this game later and I will definitely address this if I do. Thanks for playing :)

Excellent game! I love the polish and the gameplay is very engaging.

I wish there was a way to easily refill health, so I could've beaten the whole game.

Otherwise great job! Easily 5 stars in all categories :)
